The Dr. Virginia Peters Kinesiology and Health Studies Department Endowed Fund

   The newly named Dr. Virginia Peters Department for Kinesiology and Health Studies recognizes Peters' longtime dedication to the university and to her field of study. Peters is an integral part of Central's history, not only as a leader in health education, but also as a well-respected alumna who generously volunteers her time and talent to UCO and to her community. This is the final opportunity to make a life changing gift for the Dr. Virginia Peters Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies. The naming of the department is tied to an endowment that benefits students, programs and faculty within the department, as well as an unrestricted fund to help strengthen the department by providing scholarships, equipment and retention.

   Thank you for saying yes to a life-changing investment. We cannot think of a greater honor to bestow on our mentor, friend, educator, and coach who has dedicated almost 70 years to the UCO community.
