WHO WE ARE: The Broncho Powered Vehicle is UCO’s Human Powered Vehicle team who designs and builds a human powered vehicle to race against 49 other universities across the country at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ Student Conference.
OUR PROJECT: We are UCO’s first and only engineering design competition student organization.Last year was our first year competing and we came in 18th out of 50 other Universities. We were very proud of our first year and are ready to be more competitive this year.
THE IMPACT: Your funds will go toward the parts and materials needed to build the vehicle as well as the travel and conference costs for the students to attend the competition.This project allows students to gain hands-on engineering skills in a fun and competitive team environment. They will learn how to weld, use a tube-bender, design in 3D modeling computer programs, and work as a team. Any additional money raised will go toward machinery and tools needed to build the vehicle for future competitions.
PLEASE SHARE: We would love to reach our funding goal so all team members can attend the competition. Funding also helps us make a more competitive vehicle and helps enhance hands-on learning.
